Mid-century & Bauhaus-style handwoven textile art piece by Textile Artist & Weaver Pamela Print. This is one of a series of experimental works, with colour blending and blocking at the forefront, inspired by the striking 1930s Art Deco church of Saint Augustine located at the highest point of the city of Brussels - Altitude Cent. Handwoven on a dobby loom using a complex double cloth weaving technique and a combination of weave structures, this one-off framed artwork is woven using melange and solid coloured yarns, some of which are industry surplus. Comes framed with fixtures ready to hang, either portrait or landscape.
