Grouse in the Heather

Artist: Helen Maxfield

This print was inspired by a trip to Dunwich Heath in 2025.

Edition of 20, image measures 17.5 x 27cm. Unframed.

"I used the reduction method to create this lino print, where one piece of lino is used and the ink is applied in layers, with more lino being carved again between each layer. All my prints are original linocuts and are handmade by me. Because they are handmade, prints inevitably have minuscule differences...part of the charm of being made by a person and not a machine! I have used Lawrence oil-based relief printing inks and Hereford paper, 145gsm. I use a BlueBoy printing press."
