Craig J Frost is a Norwich-based printmaker whose work explores the relationship between architecture, memory, and the changing urban landscape. Working primarily through drypoint, collagraph and mixed printmaking techniques, Frost creates atmospheric compositions that draw upon industrial structures, modernist forms, forgotten spaces, and the visual language of the city.
His prints occupy the space between representation and abstraction. Familiar architectural elements—bridges, rooftops, concrete facades, walkways and industrial remnants—are transformed into layered compositions of light, structure and texture. Through the physical processes of printmaking, these places become reflections on time, impermanence and the traces left behind by human activity.
